The Moolap Transfer Station has been designed to handle Geelong, Surf Coast and the Bellarine's waste to ensure Geelong and its neighboring communities  are able to service their waste needs locally.

The facility accepts commercial and industrial waste as well as construction and demolition waste and bulk municipal waste. It offers waste collection contractors new opportunities to provide resource recovery options to their clients.

The transfer station will also be Green Star accredited catering for government project waste handling requirements.

The facility is fully paved with automated weighbridges ensuring rapid turn around times and a maintenance friendly  unloading experience for customer vehicles. Also, tipping indoors ensures the site is fully weather proof.

The transfer station also provides jobs for the local community and new opportunities for resource recovery for local businesses.
